Call of duty elite brings many new maps to the table. Many of the new maps are long-distance based sniper maps. In order to be an effective sniper you need to use the correct equipment, weapon attachment, proficiency, perks and kill streaks.

I would recommend using the Barrett 50 caliber sniper rifle. I choose a sniper rifle because of the huge ammo clip size and the fast rate of fire. The Baird 50 caliber sniper rifle is best used for watching bridges and opposing sniper buildings. I recommend using the thermal attachment so you will be able to see the enemy in hot white. The enemy will appear in hot white and they will be easily eliminated by the Barrett 50 Cal sniper rifle. You want to use the kick proficiency to reduce recoil while shooting your rifle.

I recommend using the Claymore to watch your back while holding a position. If you’re holding a position like a sniper tower, I recommend using a portable radar. The portable radar will alert you if any enemies are nearby. You will notice that the portable radar will make a beeping noise when the enemy is around. Great thing about portable radar that not only you can see it. Your teammates can also see it and it will help them eliminate the enemy. Beware, if the enemy has the perk Sit Rep, they will be able to detect a portable radar and destroy it without you or your teammates knowing about it. So a good idea is to place the portable radar in some place where it cannot be easily accessed.

MSI GeForce 8800 GTX review Benchmarks: Company of Heroes, Far Cry ...For those of you who have played the original Starcraft and Brood War, you will find that Starcraft 2 maintains the fundamental balance of the original game. Starcraft 2 is a real time strategy game where players pit their skills in micro (control within a small group of units) and macro (control of a base and army) against each other. There are three races: The Terran, who resemble humans in appearance and technology; the Zerg, who are numerous and rely on “The Swarm” to overcome their opponent; and finally the Protoss, another alien race who are more elite, and rely on fewer units to accomplish their tasks.

General Strategy: There are two general strategy elements I will cover in this section of this starcraft 2 strategy guide. The most important part of almost any real time strategy game is economic development. Thus the most important thing to remember in Starcraft 2 is EXPAND. Expansions are critical as they provide you with increased minerals and gas (the core building resources) which then allow you to produce units faster. The common beginner’s mistake is to take to “turtling” or building a large amount of defense around your natural base. This will lead to your opponent expanding and just throwing more units at you than your built up defenses can handle. Although base defense is far from useless, a mobile army at all stages of the game is important as it allows you to respond to a situation with a large portion of your forces. This brings me to my second general strategy point: scouting. Scouting allows you two critical points in this game. First, by knowing what types, and the volume of units they are building/currently have you are better prepared to counter them. You do now want o be caught off guard by a nuclear missile or a mutalisk rush when you have no anti air. Second, scouting allows you to determine the location of critical elements of your opponent’s developments. If your opponent is expanding rapidly, and spreading their forces too few between or leaving them too far from their expansion, you can easily sink it. In addition, if you scout you will not be caught off guard by your opponent moving large bodies of units towards your base.

Zerg Strategy: There are a couple of key differences that players have to account for as part of starcraft 2 zerg strategy. First on the economics side there are three rules that must be followed:

  • Zerg players rely on hatcheries and thus, plan your expansions based on the number of hatcheries you need/can sustain.
  • The Five Drone Rule- A hatchery network can effectively produce a mixed army with five drones per hatchery, thus as you go into mid/late game you should have at least a hatchery for ever five drones
  • Build your next hatchery when you hit 300 minerals yet do not have any larvae to use.

Finally, some general things to remember when playing zerg: surrounding enemy units as most of the Zerg units are melee, and remembering to flank as to not get kited is exceptionally important. Sometimes, I also play with the vintage bicycles. The games there in Time Zone are unique. I would spend some of my savings buying tokens in order to satisfy my hobby. I would spend hours there playing and enjoying. Sometimes, I would invite some of my friends to play too. It is more fun if you play with your friends because you can compete with each other. Now, I cannot spend much of my time there anymore because I have to earn some money to buy the things that I need. I just go there when I have nothing else to do. Then I realized that some of the games I used to play there were no longer available. I just thought that I was actually getting older.

I personally think Rift Planes is quickly becoming the leader of online games and this is coming from someone that played World of Warcraft almost every day since release!
